Get your straws ready! 7-Eleven Canada’s legendary Bring Your Own Cup event is back for two days of Slurpee-filled fun.
On Friday, May 17th and Saturday, May 18th, 7-Eleven is inviting Slurpee lovers to bring their most creative Slurpee vessels and fill them with Slurpee for just $2.
Every year, fans flock to 7-Eleven to fill everything from crock-pots to fine china with Slurpee. This year, Slurpee fans are challenged to get even wackier with their vessel choices – this is no ordinary Slurpee BYOC event after all. This year’s Slurpee Bring Your Own Cup event kicks off 7-Eleven’s 50th year in Canada.
Here are the four things you need to know:
- Size Matters. When full, containers must fit within a 26 cm diameter or fit within the magic measuring hole displayed in store.
- Cups must be hygienic, clean, watertight (no drops or leaks allowed), and fixed in size and shapes (no inflatables).
- No refills allowed. One container per customer per day.
- Share the fun and see what everyone else is doing by snapping a picture of your outrageous Slurpee vessel by tagging #BYOCCanada.
To celebrate 50 summers of Slurpee, 7-Eleven will be partying like its 1969 all summer long. Festivities include the Slurpee BYOC event and a free Slurpee giveaway on the 7th and 11th of every month all summer long for 7Rewards members. If that isn’t enough, party-goers can also enjoy new and exclusive Slurpee flavours like the Ghostbusters Green Apple Watermelon Slurpee and Strawberry Blast Slurpee – available for a limited time.
